LOVE – Strength That Chooses Others
Scripture:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control...” Galatians 5:22–23 (NIV)
Reflection:
The world often teaches men that strength means power, status or winning.
Christ showed something different.
Love is not weakness. Love is sacrifice. Love is leadership. Love is choosing patience when frustration is easier. Choosing service when comfort calls. Choosing truth even when it costs something.
As Christian men, we are not called only to protect our homes. We are called to love our wives well. Lead our children faithfully. Serve our communities humbly. Walk with integrity.
The warrior who cannot love cannot fully lead.
Today ask yourself: Who around me needs Christ-like love from me today?
Not tomorrow. Not someday. Today.
Reflection Question:
Read: 1 Corinthians 13:4–7
Consider:
• Where has love become duty instead of intention?
• Is my family experiencing my strength… or my presence?
• How can I actively serve someone today?
