DON'T QUIT. The Race Isn't Over.
Scripture (NIV)
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:1
Reflection
Some days following Christ feels like standing on a mountaintop.
Other days it feels like putting one foot in front of the other.
Quietly.
Faithfully.
Without seeing much progress.
That's where endurance begins.
God never promised the race would be easy.
He promised He would never leave us to run it alone.
The Armor of God wasn't given for one great victory. It was given so we could keep standing through every season - when prayers seem unanswered, when life feels heavy and when we wonder if our efforts are making any difference.
Don't measure God's work only by what you can see today.
Seeds grow underground long before they break through the surface.
The same is often true in our walk with Christ.
If you're tired... Rest in Him.
If you're discouraged... Lean into Him.
But don't quit.
God is still shaping your heart, strengthening your faith and preparing you for what lies ahead.
Keep running the race He has marked out for you.
Reflection Question
Where is God asking you to trust Him and keep going, even when you can't yet see the finish line?
Prayer
Father, Thank You for never giving up on me. When I grow weary, remind me that You are walking beside me. Help me put on the full Armor of God today and continue running the race You have set before me with faith and perseverance. Give me strength when I feel weak, hope when I feel discouraged, and peace when I begin to doubt. Teach me to trust Your timing more than my own understanding. Help me finish well.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
