FEAR NOT - The Lord Is Your Strength
Scripture:
"The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1 (NIV)
Reflection: Confidence Has a Foundation
The world tells us confidence comes from what we've accomplished, what we own or how capable we are. But those things can disappear.
David understood that real confidence isn't built on circumstances - it's built on God's character.
He didn't ask, "How strong am I?" He declared, "The Lord is the stronghold of my life."
When God is your foundation, fear no longer has the final word. Challenges may come. Opposition may rise. Uncertainty may surround you. But your confidence remains steady because it rests on the One who never changes.
Today, don't place your confidence in your own ability. Stand confidently in the strength of the Lord.
Reflection Question:
Where have you been placing your confidence - in your own strength or in God's faithfulness?
How would your decisions change today if you truly believed the Lord is your stronghold?
Warrior's Truth: Confidence isn't believing in yourself. It's believing in the God who goes before you.
Need A Little Courage? If fear has been weighing on your heart, we'd be honored to pray with you. Fear not - for the Lord is your light, your salvation, and your strength.
